Indications

Localised painful inflammatory conditions including sprains, strains, bruises, osteoarthritis of peripheral joints, tenosynovitis, myositis, bursitis, sports injuries, low back pain, localised form of soft tissue rheumatism, traumatic inflammation of tendons, muscles & joints. Mild osteoarthritis, periarthropathy, frozen shoulder, cervical spondylitis. Patients in whom systemic NSAIDs are contraindicated.

Chemical Composition

Each tube contains Diclofenac Diethylamine BP 1.16% w/w eq. to Diclofenac Sodium 1.0%
w/w, Linseed oil BP 3% w/w, Methyl Salicylate BP 10% w/w, Capsaicin USP 0.025% w/w, Menthol BP
5% w/w

Dosage & Administration

1 inch of gel to be applied 3-4 times a day till film disappears, or as directed by physician.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, Linseed oil, Capsaicin, Methyl Salicylate & Menthol or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Hypersensitivity to any other ingredient of the gel. Concomitant use of other products containing diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate. Concomitant use of oral NSAIDS.

Warning & Precautions

Local irritation, erythema, pruritus or dermatitis may occasionally occur. Skin photosensitivity, desquamation, discoloration and bullous or vesicular eruptions, Occasional: Rashes or skin eruptions.

Drug Interaction

Anti-hypertensives, Diuretics, Cardiac glycosides, Lithium, Methoterexate, Cyclosporin: Aminoglycosides, Probenecid, Oral hypoglycemic agents, Quinolone antimicrobials.
