Narcotic analgesic

For the treatment of Moderate to severe pain

Each 2 ml ampoule contains 100mg tramadol hydrochloride

10 x 2 ml ampoules

Adult : 50-100mg. Adolescent from 12yr - adult dose. Children from 1yr - 1-2mg/kg. Not to exceed 8mg/kg or 400mg daily.

Individuals with known hypersensitivity to tramadol. Concurrent use with MAOIs. Severe liver or kidney impairment. Epilepsy or seizure disorders. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common side effects are dizziness, nausea, headaches, drowsiness, fatigue, constipation, dry mouth and vomiting

Pain relieving effect may be reduced with carbamazepine, ondansetron. Increased risk of side effects with sleeping pills, alcohol, morphine and codeine, certain anti-depressants or antipsychotics. Effect may be intensified with alcohol
